Lama di Luna

A magical place at one with nature.
This sure is one magical place, a 180 hectare 19th century organic farm (and 140 chimneys, no less) of which we cannot speak highly enough, especially if what you are looking for is total respect for nature and the environment.
Located at the foot of the Murgian mountains, the landscape is of one of olive-yards, vineyards, almond, cherry-orchards, pastures and vegetables which are grown at the Lama di Luna, (biologically, of course), and so it is a place for those looking to be at one with environment in the way it should be. But this does not have to mean an ascetic or uncomfortable stay, indeed, far from it.
The Lama di Luna remains a classy piece of work. The main house dates back to the 19th century and has been recently renovated respecting its original structure. Centuries old traditions have been rescued thanks to the hard work of artisans who spent several months on this project. Each single detail has been meticulously studied to let the flavour freely circulate.
There are nine bedrooms in all, each equipped with the original fireplace to create the simple yet suggestive atmosphere of the old time. Beds are north facing to take in as much of the sun and solar panels heat each room and heat the water that supplies each bathroom.
