Fresh Hotel

Fresh in name, Fresh in nature. Unlike some other hotels located in central Athens, the Fresh Hotel does not suffer from stuffiness or “old worldliness”, so to speak. No, this one is spacious, design orientated and rather Zen like – it even has a Zen garden, which in the middle of the bustling heart of Athens is quite something.
There is also a Philip Starck feeling about the Fresh Hotel and guess what? Many of the hotel’s elegant features and fittings were actually designed by him. And it sets the scene in terms of atmosphere. So, it is not surprising to learn that there are vibrant colours, soundproof rooms, a minimalist feeling and lots of wellness options, including sauna, a rooftop swimming pool and the Air Lounge Bar. The latter has a special trick up its sleeve – views over the Parthenon and the city. And it is this mix of the old and the new - inside state of the art, outside old Athens before your very eyes - that makes up a large part of the appeal of a stay at the boutique Fresh Hotel.
The other appeal, of course, is the location in the centre of Athens, within a stone’s throw of the pretty quarters Monastiraki and Plaka. It is easy to eat out and enjoy the many local restaurants, but the Magenta in-house restaurant is at least equal to any of them and should be tried.
May we suggest a chill-out drink by the before mentioned Air Lounge Bar? Any time is the right time, but a night time tipple with Athens skyline in view is a great experience.
In short, this is a cool chill-out sort of place offering guests many options to relax and unwind, but also easy access to some of Athens most famous sights. Don’t forget, for example, that the Fresh is within walking distance from the Acropolis and Syntagma Square.
