It will be a pleasure for you to be welcomed in a cosy country house and in a relaxing atmosphere. Quinta do Freixo is a wonderful renovated building, which has 800 hectares and 15 different accommodations with subtle decoration. The hotel is located in the centre of Rocha Da Pena, the largest climbing area in southern Portugal, less than an hour's drive from Faro airport and less than 20 km from the train station of Tunes, Loulé and Albufeira.

All accommodations have free internet service, event areas, rooms and bathrooms. You can enjoy the swimming pool and don't forget to taste the excellent gastronomy served by the restaurant staff, an experience not to be missed. The accommodations have panoramic views of the surroundings.

Due to the natural resources, you can take advantage of the natural resources that you can find in nature, activities such as hiking and cycling are the most pleasant. Moreover, you can discover the valleys, lakes and some natural springs in the surroundings. However, if you are a beach lover, it is only 25 minutes from the hotel to the amazing and photogenic beaches of the Algarve, and it is also close to Loulé and Albufeira.

We absolutely loved this Quinta. Beautiful grounds and views of the mountains, gorgeous pool and orchards. Beautiful clean and well designed room with a panoramic window and lovely balcony and good Wi-Fi. Excellent meals and incredible cocktails. This is my first stay in an Agro-Tourisme Location and it didn’t disappoint - Felt very authentic as a working organic farm. The dining terrace and the are restaurant very pleasant and open most hours with attractive views and ambience. Staff very polite and courteous. Beautifully designed very tranquil. Make sure you buy the products produced by the farm. There are extremely high quality, especially the honey mead, which was my absolute favorite, and go to aperitif. They have the best almond cake I’ve ever eaten. Our only gripe was the amount of families with small children monopolizing the pool area. A little concerned about the infants swimming naked or with nappies in the pool. I would definitely go back here just not in high season, Saying that it was very romantic when there were no children around. We also dined at the sister hotel, which was nearer the beach, which also had an excellent restaurant. Thank you secret places for introducing us to this Quinta, we would never of known about it otherwise. Stay dates were August 8, 2022 to 12th of August 2022
