Pensão Agricola

Secureness, familiarity and a very special atmosphere - these three qualities are embodied by the boutique hotel Pensão Agrícola in every single detail of its furniture and decorative pieces. Each of the 6 bedrooms has a private patio, three are located in the main building and three in an outdoor area next to the building. With a combination of a hip and nostalgic flair, each individual room welcomes its guests with its very special Portuguese charm. The aim is to make you feel at home as if you were in your family environment and at the same time in a completely new place worth discovering. The interior decoration consists of a lovingly preserved antique furniture and valuable family pieces, which give you insights into the past of the house owners. 

In front of the hotel, you can find the donkey Ernesto, who is always on guard. Guests can not only watch and feed him, he also is available for rides to the beaches, towns or mountains nearby. A delicious breakfast as well as lovingly prepared snacks made with home-made and local products are served by the friendly staff directly at the table or, if required, at the small hotel pool. A delicious dinner can also be ordered and enjoyed on request. 

The area is one of the most beautiful in the Algarve. Surrounded by fertile land and nature, there is a lot to discover, such as the historical centre of Tavira and the old fishing village Cacela Velha. If you feel like sunbathing by the sea, you can also explore the various beaches along the coast. For this purpose, the hotel will gladly provide a beach shuttle as well as picnic baskets and parasols on request. If you want to explore the area on your own, you can also rent a Vespa or a Cabriolet. Staying home and relaxing in the hotel also is a great idea as there is a corresponding lawn for sunbathing. During winter the pool is heated so that it can be used even during the cold season. Suitable drinks are also available at the hotel bar.
