La Cour Sainte Catherine is right in the heart of Honfleur, a fishing village on the Seine estuary. It was originally a 17th century Augustinian convent that two Parisians, Lilian and Antoine, having returned to their homeland decided to manage as an enchanting bed & breakfast.
It comes with 5 large bedrooms (35 m2) with en suite bathrooms, TV and DVD – as well as suites that also have a small sitting room and king-size beds. Their daughter, Mélina, has two adjoining apartments on offer that can accommodate 2 or 4  people – they resemble fishermen dwellings from a few centuries back, although were totally restored.
They are fully equipped with regional furniture, a kitchenette, TV, hi-fi system, DVD, games and a library. Going back to the main house, breakfasts are very complete and nourishing, with cakes, buns, jams, hot beverages, orange juice and fresh bread – and can be had from 8 to 11. We can enjoy them at the oak-wood terrace, the flower garden or the apple press. The sea is right in front of us, and Honfleur, with its harbour, yacht marina and fishing fleet. is 2 minutes away.
Whilst  in Honfleur don't forget to try a number of restaurants, nestled within its narrow streets, that serve delightful “produits de la mer”.
