Quinta da Donalda

Quinta da Donalda is a quintessential Portuguese ‘Quinta’ situated in the Western Algarve. These three fully-equipped rental cottages have been owned by the same family for over 360 years. With a total capacity for 18 guests these cottages can rented individually or together for larger groups. 

Situated within 92 hectares of land, Quinta da Donalda is still very much a working farm, with lots of produce being sold at the local Portimão Municipal Market. 

The Liberal Wing is attached to the main Quinta building and is the largest of the 3 cottages with 5 ensuite bedrooms. One suite in the Liberal Wing is suitable for disabled persons/wheel chair users. The Bartolomeu and Daniel cottages mirror each other and can accommodate 2-4 guests each. All properties have their own fully equipped kitchen and are fitted with fireplaces and air conditioning. Furthermore, free WI-FI is provided throughout all buildings. There is a shared swimming pool at this property. 

A delicious continental breakfast is served each morning between 09:00-11:00 Hours (fresh bread, homemade cakes and cookies, seasonal fruit, bread, eggs (by request), yogurt, butter, ham, cheese, homemade jam, honey, tea, coffee, milk, orange juice). Additionally, resident staff are on-hand to prepare extra meals (upon request at additional cost). 

 Quinta da Donalda is a working farm with plenty of machinery, therefore young children must be supervised at all times. 

The location of these properties is perfect being within easy reach of some of the Algarve’s best beaches. Furthermore, the nearest Airport is Faro (70km away).
