The story of the hotel's origins is also particularly romantic. In 1960, Marc Massó decided that he wanted to give his wife Rosa a special gift: a country house where they could spend their retirement together. On the advice of a friend, he discovered the beautiful farmstead in Rupit. To make the surprise perfect, he pretended to help his friend build his house and only revealed to his wife on their first visit that he had been working for three years just for her.

60 years later, Marc and Rosa's descendants transformed the house into a magnificent hotel, retaining all the essential features of the historic architecture: the stylish stone façade, the old wooden beams and the beautiful garden with a unique view over the mountains.

At Masia Santa Llúcia you will find cosy rooms furnished and decorated in a contemporary and comfortable style. The interplay of materials and colours exudes harmony and peace, allowing you to relax in the best possible way. Throughout the complex, you will always feel the connection with nature. The pool, surrounded by greenery, is a place where you can unwind and leave all the stress of everyday life behind.

The hotel also has its own restaurant with many homemade and regional specialties from Catalan cuisine. The menu is adapted throughout the year and enhanced with seasonal fruits.

In the surrounding area, you can go for wonderful hikes and will hardly be able to get enough of the fantastic views. There are also a few waterfalls to discover. Also, the village of Rupit itself is worth a visit. Even though it has only 300 inhabitants (or maybe because of that?), you will be enchanted by the historic houses. There is even a suspension bridge here!
