34 Guest House

34 Guest House is a fantastic bed & breakfast with rooms full of details that are decorated according to special Portuguese regions. It’s located in Setúbal, a nice area in the South West of Portugal, near the beach and next to the capital of the country. 

In total, the guesthouse has 8 suites to offer and each of them has its own special atmosphere and characteristics. Among others, you can decide if you prefer the colorful charm of Viana do Castelo, the light of Porto's night sky, the lively atmosphere of Lisbon's streets, or the ocean blue of the Azores. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a private bathroom, a wardrobe, air-conditioning, and wifi. Certain rooms also have their own balcony. 

The whole guesthouse is designed in an alternative, comfortable way. Everywhere you find decoration details such as pictures, plants, and a number of extravagant lamps that provide a cozy light that makes every room shine in its own way. The common areas offer the perfect place to relax, meet other people or enjoy the continental breakfast available each morning. 

From Setúbal you just need 5-10 minutes to the beach and 45 minutes by car to the reach city center of Lisbon. If you want, you can also go hiking in the national park of Arrábida. On foot you can visit el Mercado do Livramento, a typical Portuguese market which is really close to the accommodation. There also are a lot of possibilities to have good food in one of the restaurants that surround the guest house. The historical castle Fortress Sao Filipe is an amazing spot for a good ocean view. Other activities you can do nearby are golfing, visiting a museum, or going for a walk in one of the nice parks. The train station of Setúbal is just 1km away, so you’re very flexible to visit other parts of Portugal.
