The Hurricane hotel is a small and exotic hotel, built in the Moorish style with high arches and palm trees set within beautiful subtropical gardens. These lead out to an unspoilt beach and arguably some of the best windsurfing in Europe - beginners can even learn the craft at the Huriccane hotel’s own windsurfing school. The great views afforded over the Straits of Gibraltar to Morocco provide a further bonus – on a clear day from the Hurricane hotel, for example, you can even see the North African coast.
Even if the water isn’t your natural habitat you will find this an excellent location. There is a fully equipped gym, two swimming pools, horses and mountain bikes. The rooms themselves are comfortable, spacious and maintain the exotic feel with their decoration. As befits a prime windsurfing location, the atmosphere is laid back so simply staying in is a pleasure in itself. However, with the beautiful mountains of Cadiz nearby, in addition to the great beach, the visitor should never be at a loss for things to do.
A truly lovely place- beautiful setting with lovely gardens. The accommodation is fine/ the bed is fairly hard am the pillows not great but otherwise v pleasant bedroom and bathroom. The dining room is spacious and the outside area is exceptionally attractive. There are two large swimming pools, not heated but as we stayed in late summer perfectly acceptable temperatures.
The staff are delightful- very kind and attentive- some speak excellent English. The food is generally good albeit not a lot of variety.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and looking forward to returning

Great location and beautiful grounds. We had a nice oceanfront room on the 2nd floor. Infrastructure is a little "tired" (bathroom in room, non-functioning hot tub, various paths and railings and spa/sports center) and could use a little refurbishment and paint. The food was excellent. The service was mixed; some staff were very friendly and polite, others distant and reserved. Unfortunately, the beach was washed away, but nice sandy beaches were a short 10min walk along the rocky beach away.

Beautiful hotel in wonderful settings with warm & welcoming staff. Rooms are clean, safe and very well appointed. Food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious (and inexpensive). Public areas - pool, spa, beach bar, spa pool etc - are exceptionally well maintained, comfortable, calm and peaceful.
I'd absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially to Adults only.

Schöner Garten mit Pool, Restaurant von der Lage toll. Vorspeisen excellent, Hauptgerichte erfüllten Erwartungen nicht immer.

für ein zwei Sternehotel war es klasse! Alles sehr sauber, Frühstücksauswahl sehr reichhaltig, sehr freundliches Personal!
