Monte do Álamo, situated in the quiet countryside overlooking Tavira, is a former farmhouse that has been converted into a country getaway. With only 6 rooms available (1 double, 3 double/twin rooms and 2 suites with private terrace), this is the perfect place to relax and seek complete tranquillity. All rooms are unique yet they all offer incredible views of the sea and the city of Tavira and each have a private bathroom.

The location of this Portuguese farmhouse is perfect, being within close proximity of the Roman Bridge of Tavira as well as easy access to Faro airport.

Gastronomy will very much be a highlight of any stay here. From enjoying your breakfast outside which includes plenty of bread, fresh orange juice and some national cheeses, to taking part in a cooking class which covers many culinary topics and has a heavy focus on the culture of the region. Food can be enjoyed throughout the day too (upon request at additional cost), such as a delicious aperitif in the garden after a long day of exploring the local area.

Despite the tranquil nature of this accommodation, there are plenty of activities to be enjoyed in the local area including workshops, cooking classes, hiking, cycling, boat and kayak trips or even dance/yoga classes.
