Hotel V...

The
name is interesting enough. The V of the Hotel V… probably stands for Vejer,
but it could just as easily stand for “very” luminous…, “very” classy…,
“very”…. Well, add any positive adjective.
The point we’re trying to make is that the Hotel
V… is a “very” special place. The transformation of this 16th century house has
been spectacularly done, mixing the old world with a 21st century mindset.
You’ll see what we mean by that as soon as you
enter the modern and superb black and glass entrance. Yet inside the operative
words are luxury, service and luminosity. And that was precisely the idea
behind the Hotel V… to create a singularly luxurious and modern atmosphere in
the beautiful white town of Vejer de la Frontera. The old staircase with a
terra cotta vault leads onto a veranda with simply fantastic views of the
region and each of the 12 rooms has easy access to it. The rooms are modern,
large with ample beds and an eclectic mix of furniture, though perhaps the
principal style is actually colonial Portuguese as much of the furnishings were
sourced from the old Portuguese colony of Goa, in India.
Bathrooms and tubs are equally modern and well
provided for. There’s also something special about starting off your day with
breakfast in the 17th century courtyard (20 foot stone columns to keep you
company and those marvellous views again. The other, more subtle, aspect of a
stay here is that the service is absolutely first class, without being
intrusive. You will want for nothing and odds on that staff will go beyond the
call of duty to make your stay as wonderful as possible. Again, old world
service with new world facilities
Hotel V… “Very” special. As a satisfied guest put
it “We can’t say enough how much we loved the boutique Hotel V…
