The interior of this 18th Century
Palazzo is exquisitely decorated with astounding consideration to comfort and
luxury. Marble staircases, mellow stone walls, fine fabrics, well-chosen
antiques and carefully selected modern furnishings all add to the luxurious
ambience of the Palazzo.
Traditional features such as thick
exposed walls, stellar vaulted ceilings and polished marble flooring bring a
level of luxury that is hard to find elsewhere. The grounds of the Palazzo are
an oasis of mature gardens full of palm trees, Mediterranean ferns, fruit
trees, stunning tropical flowers and a 10m x 4m swimming pool.
Exposed stone stellar vaulted
ceiling, white washed walls, traditional stone flooring and the fully furnished roof terrace,
complete with Moroccan style seating area, large comfortable cushions and hot
tub, enhances the tranquil and serene outdoor space of this charming Palazzo.
The roof terrace boasts a breathtaking view from which our guest can enjoy an
evening aperitivo and watch the sun set over the village.

Just as picture perfect in real life - lovely boutique hotel

Wonderful boutique hotel with an incredibly relaxed atmosphere. We weren't expecting it to live up to the photographs, but it absolutely does, and some...! It is picture perfect and kept beautifully by very lovely, laid back staff who are almost all locals. Wonderful huge breakfast spread every morning catering for all tastes. We were concerned that the pool might be too busy as it isn't huge and is shared and we have three children, but it was NEVER an issue. We enjoyed it every day, and often had it to ourselves. People tended to go out all day, so we had lazy pool days and enjoyed every minute. The village is a bit sleepy, but you have to drive in Puglia to get the best of it, and there are plenty of places within 20 minutes to go for a meal, a sea swim, a boat ride or a pedalo - and the hotel were very happy to ring and arrange anything you wanted to do. Basically, there's a generosity about the place (honesty bars, free cake all day, library to read through, free bikes at your disposal) that makes it feel like a tranquil haven. Thoroughly recommend it.

One of the most enjoyable hotel stays we have ever had. So many facilities available and the staff were uniformly excellent - both efficient and (more importantly) very friendly.
