Built in the late 19th century, Casa Litarà was once home to the owner of the tobacco fields that now make up the garden. The ground floor housed tobacco pickers, while the first floor was the owner's residence, featuring stunning star-shaped vaulted ceilings.

The name, "Litarà," comes from the Greek word meaning "where stone dominates," a nod to Salento's rich history and its abundant use of stone in architecture and landscapes.

At Casa Litarà, stone is a prominent element, evident in our vaults, floors, and furnishings. In the four unique bedrooms, stone meets wood, iron, and terracotta to create distinct atmospheres for our guests to enjoy.

You will be welcomed by the owner Giorgia, and there to personally welcome you to Casa Litarà, your "home away from home."
