Encosta do Sobreiro - Serra da Estrela

On the 2.5-hectare grounds of Encosta do Sobreiro, there are four different holiday homes with enough space for two to ten people. All of them have a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living area. You can also refresh yourself in the saltwater pool and enjoy a cosy barbecue on the inviting terrace. To keep the little ones occupied on warm summer afternoons, there is a playground, and also a volleyball court and a table tennis table, surrounded by large meadows, which also invite you to take long walks. The talented architects have given this rural village a touch of modernity that blends perfectly with the lush green valleys and mountains.

The landscape of the Serra da Estrela is extremely varied, so you certainly won't get bored here. This UNESCO Global Geopark is great for hiking, but also for skiing! The Serra da Estrela is the only area in Portugal with guaranteed snow in winter. But also in summer, it is exciting to visit the 12 historic villages like Almeida, Castelo Novo or Marialva or to have a picnic at the river beach Ponte de Juncais. There are also many beautiful cycle paths in the area and even the possibility to try paragliding.
