La Maison Matelot

This simple, but beautiful little house is located in a small fishing port in Normandy called Port-en-Bessin. It is part of one of the villages in the north of France characterised by its history, the beauty of its natural environment and its wide gastronomic offer.
The property is located just 100 metres from the sea and consists of three small flats full of charm and personality. Each one occupies one floor, and all of them have a fully equipped kitchen, modern appliances, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, bed linen and a personal bathroom with shower or bathtub. There are also some useful amenities such as a hairdryer, ironing board and washing machine. All flats are 33m2 and are ideal for two people. The decoration is inspired by the sea and fishing life with many small details that will not go unnoticed.
The accommodation is located in the heart of the village, just a few metres from the port, the sea and the fish market. Just a 10 minute walk away are some American WWII memorials such as the Omaha Memorial, which refers to the Allied forces landing at sea from German-occupied France in Normandy. If you want to try the local seafood of unbeatable quality, apple cider or other local dishes, you only have to walk a few metres to a number of good local restaurants. Close to the house there are several shops and places offering activities such as golf, paragliding, open sea fishing and angling.
