Tinos Ecolodge Houses

The Tinos Eco Lodge is an eco friendly accommodation on the island of Tinos, in one of the most pristine and untouched areas of the island. Surrounded by beautiful stone terraces and with a view to the sunrise and the sea, is a hidden paradise. An old oak forest and a riverside platanus forest completes the picture.

The Ecolodge was built in complete harmony with the natural environment and the terraced landscape. It consists of three off grid stone houses, built with respect to the local architecture and using all the alternative off grid technologies on energy, water and food production. Its 100% self sufficient on energy and water and it has an organic garden that provides the residents as well as the locals with daily fresh vegetables.

The Big stone house can host up to 4 people. Surrounded by two private terraces, a big garden in front, and a magnificent view of the sea, the big stone house is 65 sqm inside and has another 150 sqm of the outside area. There is also a private parking space outside the yard of the house. It has two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas oven, fridge, and all necessary utensils to cook and prepare meals. There is one bathroom with a shower and also some basics such as eco-soaps. The kitchen opens to a big terrace in the front of the house with a  garden area, and outdoor dinning furniture, sezlong chairs and a hammock.

The Small stone house its ideal for a couple but can sleep up to 3 people. It is surrounded by two private terraces, and has direct access to a garden with fruit trees.  It covers 45sqm inside and the terrace and garden outside is more than 150sqm. It has a private parking space right outside the yard entrance. It has one bedroom with a double bed and a kitchen bed size sofa which is big enough for another person to sleep on. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas oven, fridge and all the necessary utensils to cook and prepare a proper meal. There is one bathroom with shower as well as some basic essentials such as eco-soaps. The kitchen opens to a terrace with outdoor sofa and a dinning table. The front terrace is looking east giving a fantastic view to the sea and the sunrise!

Apart from the houses Tinos Ecolodge lies on a 6.000m2 plot with oak trees and lots of fruit trees, and a professional organic permaculture garden with fresh vegetables all year, that visitors can order or pick themselves if they like. There is also an extended herbal garden which is used for the kitchen but also for distillation and making essential oils from oregano and lavender.

There is also a communal garden kitchen with pizza oven that the guests can use and a wooden yoga deck where private yoga lesson can be organised.

Both houses are independent and apart to protect each propertys privacy. It is also possible to rent both residences together.

Santa Margarita and Lychnaftia, two lovely beaches that are only 1.5 km far, are reached by car or easy walking in about 30 minutes.
